LOCAL CHILDREN REUNITE WITH FELLOW PATIENTS, CAREGIVERS
Kingwood Medical Center Hosts “Graduates” of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for Second Year
Attending Kingwood Medical Center’s Second Annual Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Reunion were many sets of twins including brothers Aksel and Azael Isasaga. Attendees enjoyed balloon art, games and left their mark just like Coby McGehee with a handprint to commemorate their attendance. Nearly 50 NICU graduates attended the Reunion with their families, showing off their development to the team that cared for them. Reunited at the event were Anna Young and her mom, Sarah, with Joyce Morgan, an RN and Charge Nurse in the hospital’s NICU. Kingwood Medical Center provides specialized, intensive care to newborns in its Level II and Level III NICUs. Caring for premature babies close to home is part of the hospital’s commitment to our community’s tiniest patients. Until the babies in our NICU are strong and healthy enough to go home to their families, they are part of ours.
